Wright and Clark win the title

Robby Wright and Travis Clark had 32.43 pounds and also big bass with a 6.63 pounds to win the Mosaic Bass Club Tournament Feb. 6 on the Winter Haven South Chain. Gary Yearry Jr. and Aaron Phillips took second place at 21.32 pounds. Aaron Flint and Tina Flint took third place at 12.29 pounds.

Brad Gibson and Calvin King had a total of seven 10.34-pound fish to take first place at the Crappie Masters Florida Crappie Trail tournament Feb. 6 on Lake Okeechobee. Bobby Hill was second at 10.01 pounds. Alan Nelson and Danny Marsocci finished third at 9.93 pounds. Don Vanderpool and Tony Strollo had big fish with a 1.89 pound.

Keith Brown had three bass weighing 6.14 pounds and also a big bass weighing 3.2 pounds to win The Lone Fishing Club tournament on Feb. 6 on Winter Haven’s North Range. Brad McPherson finished second with three lows at 5.59 pounds.

Lee Sisson was 27.61 pounds to claim first place at the Winter Haven Lunker Lovers Tournament Feb. 6-7 on Lake Istokpoga. Ricky Dudley was second at 23.09 pounds. Robert Kimbrough was third at 21.31 pounds and John Hunt fourth at 19.88 pounds. Lamar Middleton took a big bass with a 7.89 pounds.

Jason Kitchens and AJ Kitchens had 31.48 pounds and also big bass with a 5.77 pounds to claim first place at the Outcasts Bass Club Tournament Feb. 6-7 at Lake Okeechobee. Rick Bateman and Elwood Glaser finished second at 23.71 pounds. Owen Kitchens and Matthew Evatt took third place at 17.97 pounds.

Ron Dowdy fishing solo had 18.95 pounds to claim first place in the Lake Wales Po Boys Bass Club tournament on February 7 on Lake Kissimmee. Bubba Chavis and Brandon Scruggs finished second at 15.15 pounds. Earl Dowdy and Jeff Spotwoods took third place at 12.15 pounds. Bubba Chavis took a big bass with a 7.10 lbs.

Ismael Garcia and James Kiddy had 10.09 pounds to win the Sunday Open Series tournament on Feb. 7 at Lake Ariana. Ed Burkhimer and Frank Silvester took second place with 10.06 pounds and the duo also had a big bass with a 3.02 pounds.

The Camp Mack Guy Harvey Lodge, Marina & RV Resort Bonfire tournament series begins with its first event, the Lunker Lovin’ Smackdown on February 20 at Lake Kissimmee. This is the first of three one-day tournaments that will take place throughout the year, culminating in a two-day tournament in November.
