June/July-August Cleveland/Eastlake
August-Geneva/Ashtabula/Conneaut
October-November-December Cleveland/Eastlake

CHANGES update:
August 27th thru September 2nd we were in Conneaut for a week.
This was a great week, the perch are huge out East.
Updated information and pics will be in the next newsletter.
Everyone had so much fun and hundreds of perch were pulled. I am thinking about making an annual event for this. Campgrounds are also real close.

For Laborday weekend:The boat will be back in Cleveland. At this time the weather is not promising, this will be an on call trip or not.

The 4th, 5th morning, and 6th are open. I plan on perch fishing these days off of Burke Lake front
airport so that the air show can be observed all at once.

Put in Bay runs from May 1st to July normally.
This year we moved early to Cleveland with the Walleye memorial weekend.
Put in Bay runs are over for this season.
2011 looks like we will Make these runs all season.

You will board a 30 foot Mako with twin 200 horsepower Mariner engines, with all the latest safety equipment and electronics.
We provide all bait, rods, and reels.

There has been much call for walk-ons from persons that are by themselves and such, for Perch or Walleye.

I have now scheduled walk-ons.

If you are by yourself and want to go we can create a trip.

We can accommodate up to 6 passengers for perch.

Walleye, 4 persons preferred, up to 3 persons for night trips.

Let me know the date you would like to fish and we will match you up with a crew.

Walleye walk-ons are 75.00 to 150.00 depending on how many can go that day and how far we have to run.

At this time, the day Walleye  trips are 500 to 550.00, we are running out 20+ miles one way.

Steelhead trips are 25-30 miles out and are 600.00.

Just call and let me know what day you would like and get on the call list.

Perch walk-ons when available are 55.00 person,  bait included for 6 persons.

Or 330.00 for the boat for 6 hours.

Or 50.00 per person if you bring your own bait.

Lake Erie is the smallest of the Great Lakes in volume (119 cubic miles) and has had the greatest effects from urbanization and agriculture. Measuring 241 miles across and 57 miles from north to south, the lake's surface is just under 10,000 square miles, with 871 miles of shoreline. The average depth of Lake Erie is only about 62 feet (210 feet, maximum). It therefore warms rapidly in the spring and summer, and frequently freezes over in winter. The drainage basin covers parts of Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania, New York and Ontario. Because of its fertile soils, the basin is intensively farmed and is the most densely populated of the five Great Lake basins. Lake Erie is home to one of the world's largest freshwater commercial fisheries. Once a mainstay of communities around the lake, commercial fishing is now predominantly based on the Canadian side of the lake. A much smaller fishery, largely restricted to yellow perch, is on the Ohio side. Still, the commercial fishery is the target of critics who would like to see the lake managed for the exclusive benefit of sport fishing and the various industries serving the sport fishery.

Landings are dominated by yellow perch and walleye, with substantial quantities of rainbow smelt and white bass also taken. Anglers target walleye and yellow perch, with some effort directed on rainbow trout. A variety of other species are taken in smaller quantities by sport fleets.
